Sanctuary lamp - Copper, Glass - Religious hanging lamp

Religious Hanging Sanctuary Lamp A particularly elegant and richly decorated brass hanging sanctuary lamp (sanctuary lamp / lampada), complete with the original ruby-red glass cup. This religious object is made of gleaming polished brass and features refined detailed relief decorations, such as classic foliage and scroll motifs around the central reservoir and decorative openwork spacers on the hanging chains. At the bottom of the reservoir hangs a graceful brass cross as a refined finishing detail. The lamp is suspended by three sturdy chain links that converge at a matching rosette at the top, allowing the piece to be hung directly. The removable ruby glass insert is entirely intact and suitable for an oil lamp or sanctuary lamp candle. The whole is in excellent, very clean condition with only minimal signs of age and use. A beautiful and atmospheric item for the collector of religious art, ecclesiastical antiques, or as a unique decorative element in a classic interior. The lot measures 38 cm, 17 cm in diameter, and weighs 500 g. It will be very carefully packaged and shipped worldwide with Track & Trace.
