Santicri participated in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he was present at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thus expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also included among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of growing appreciation for his work. These recognitions highlight his extraordinary talent and the increasing visibility of Santicri in the contemporary artistic scene. Technique: Resin and marble powder Dimensions: H13 x L15 x P13 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: limited edition 100ex A simple and recognizable figure is transformed into something different. The teddy bear, a symbol of affection and protection, maintains its form but loses its function: it is no longer something to touch or to live with lightly. The surface completely changes the perception of the work. What from afar seems familiar, up close becomes more distant, almost inaccessible. This creates a direct contrast between what we know and what we see. The work plays precisely on this tension: on the one hand it attracts, on the other it keeps at a distance. In this way, an image linked to childhood is reread in a contemporary key, becoming something more complex and less reassuring. SHIPPING INSURED! The serial number may not correspond to the one in the photo. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies of Geometra and Architecture, led him to collaborate with an artisan sculptor in resin. There arose the growing need to find himself and give vent to his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe.
