Santicri - Essence control

Santicri has participated in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most significant, in 2022 he showcased his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These recognitions highlight the extraordinary talent and the ever-increasing visibility of Santicri in the contemporary artistic landscape. Santicri Mixed media Dimensions: 90x50x15 cm Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Limited Edition x/8 This work plays with the perception between two-dimensional and three-dimensional, transforming a static image into a living experience. The colored liquid that drips from the canvas blends perfectly with the real valve, creating the illusion that the color really leaks from the canvas. The physical insertion of the valve and the suspended drop breaks the fourth wall of art, prompting the observer to question what is real and what is not. The effect is ironic and provocative: is it possible to control the creative flow? Can inspiration be opened and closed as if it were a faucet? The work fuses pop aesthetics, ready-made, and conceptual spirit, with a direct yet layered visual language. An intelligent mix of color, matter, and concept, which catches the eye and invites reflection. The edition number shipped will be chosen randomly from those available. SHIPPING INSURED! The package is carefully packed, the drop is shipped separately from the faucet, to be screwed onto the faucet (by hand). This is to ensure a safer shipment. The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame, the faucet is iron, the drop is resin with an iron core, frame not included. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately after icons like Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier, and Pokémon. A recognized talent not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Geometer and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There lay the growing need to find himself and give free rein to his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of paintings and sculptures of street art, pop art, and contemporary art. "It's never easy to classify one's own art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of seeing what surrounds me, and I reshape it with a design that fits well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
