Santicri - Essence control, yellow

Santicri has taken part in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he was present at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These recognitions highlight the extraordinary talent and the ever-increasing visibility of Santicri in the contemporary art scene. Santicri Mixed media Dimensions: 90x50x15 cm Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: X/8 This work plays with the perception between two-dimensional and three-dimensional, transforming a static image into a living experience. The colored liquid that drips down the canvas blends perfectly with the real valve, creating the illusion that the color is truly flowing from the canvas. The physical insertion of the valve and the suspended drop breaks the fourth wall of art, prompting the viewer to question what is real and what is not. The effect is ironic and provocative: is it possible to control the creative flow? Can inspiration be opened and closed as if it were a tap? The work unites pop aesthetics, ready-made elements and conceptual spirit, with a direct yet layered visual language. An intelligent mix of color, matter and concept that catches the eye and leaves room for reflection. SHIPPING INSURED! The package is carefully packed, the drop is shipped separately from the tap, to be screwed onto the tap (by hand), thus ensuring a safer shipment. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame, the tap is iron, the drop is resin with a steel core, frame not included. The assigned edition number will be randomly selected among those available. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately ranking after icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for its creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist followed a path that, through studies in Geometer and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There, the growing need to find himself and give vent to his creativity emerged. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of paintings and sculptures of street art, pop art, and contemporary art. "It is never easy to classify one’s own art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that fits well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
