Santicri Mixed media Dimensions: 90x50x15 cm The artwork comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity Limited edition 1/8 This contemporary canvas arises from the meeting of one of the most famous symbols in art history with a contemporary visual language. Michelangelo's David head is reinterpreted and pulled out of its sculptural dimension, becoming a presence suspended between matter, image, and color. The faucet becomes a real temporal gateway: from it the sculpture seems to be sucked in and simultaneously returned in a new form. The material and color that emerge from it represent the transition from classical art to a contemporary vision, in which a past icon is fragmented, transformed, and reassembled again. The work thus reflects on the relationship between memory and transformation, showing how a masterpiece can continue to live even when removed from its original context and reinterpreted through a completely different language. The fusion between the monumentality of David and the everyday, contemporary element of the faucet creates a deliberately unsettling contrast: art history is not simply cited, but seems to be literally dragged into the present and transformed into new creative matter. There arose the growing need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and in Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art, pop art, and contemporary art paintings and sculptures. "It is never easy to classify my art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that fits well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
