Santicri - Snapshot, Love #6

Santicri has participated in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most notable, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he attended the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was named among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most-searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These recognitions highlight Santicri's extraordinary talent and his increasing visibility in the contemporary art scene. Santicri Mixed media, acrylic Dimensions: 70x50x20 cm Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Unique artwork This work fuses painting and object, transforming the gesture into a suspended-in-time installation. The brush, embedded in the canvas, freezes the creative act in an eternal “here and now,” making visible the moment of its execution. The shape of the heart, traced with a broad and instinctive stroke, is crossed by drips that evoke a tension between emotion and loss of control. A universal icon is thus transformed into a physical, direct, and vulnerable gesture. The insertion of the brush breaks the painting's two-dimensionality, placing the work between painting and sculpture, and opening a reflection on the relationship between gesture, matter and emotion. INSURED SHIPPING! The package is carefully packed; the canvas is shipped already mounted on a wooden frame, frame not included. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately ranking behind icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other icons of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for its creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, in the Marche region, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in surveying and architecture, led him to collaborate with an artisan who makes resin sculptures. There arose the ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of paintings and sculptures of street art, pop art, and contemporary art. "It's never easy to classify one's art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of surveying what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that marries well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
