Santicri - Uncontained

Santicri has participated in numerous art exhibitions of international repute. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he was present at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These accolades highlight the extraordinary talent and the increasingly prominent visibility of Santicri in the contemporary art scene. Christian Mariani aka Santicri Technique: Resin and marble dust Dimensions: H30 x L18 x D2 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: silver and pink This sculpture shows how art can be born anywhere, even from the most ordinary and overlooked elements of our daily life. The air vent, symbol of functionality and anonymity, becomes the vanishing point for an explosion of matter, transforming into an unexpected artwork. The spill of black paint breaks the monotony of the industrial object, suggesting that creativity cannot be contained: it emerges, expands, and manifests itself in the most unimaginable places. Art, therefore, is not confined to galleries or museums, but exists wherever there is the capacity to see it. The serial number may not match the one in the photo. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, placing himself just behind icons like Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier, and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, the Marche region, the Italian artist pursued a path that, through studies in Geometer and Architecture, led him to collaborate with an artisan who makes resin sculptures. There arose a growing need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and in Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art, pop art, and contemporary art paintings and sculptures. "It is never easy to classify one’s art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I reshape it with a design that fits well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
