Description: Offered is an absolute legend among professional bar and kitchen tools: the Santos No. 10 'Super de Luxe' citrus juicer, directly from the top year 1989. This iconic model, handcrafted by the renowned Santos in Lyon (France), is the ultimate synergy between industrial design and brute French technique. While modern devices largely consist of plastic, this 1989 machine is a heavyweight made of solid cast aluminum, chrome and stainless steel. Thanks to the characteristic gray hammer-tone paint and the iconic orange toggle switch, this specimen exudes the pure, authentic vintage hospitality aesthetics of the late 80s. A beautiful collectible, but above all a functional work of art that is ready for use in a high-end kitchen, espresso bar, or vintage lounge bar. Why this lot is unique: • Indestructible French Technology: Equipped with the legendary, ultra-silent asynchronous induction motor. These motors are known to last for generations without losing power. • Ergonomic Masterpiece: The patented lever-system (crank) starts the motor automatically as soon as pressure is applied to the fruit. Comfortable, fast and splash-free. • Timeless Industrial Design: The vertical, ribbed housing not only serves for optimal motor cooling, but gives the machine its recognizable, sculptural look. • Excellent Condition: This specimen has withstood the test of time fantastically. The paint has exactly the right, subtle patina that adds character, without major damage. The motor runs powerful and smoothly as on day one.
