Sapphire and Diamond Ring

ESTIMATED RETAIL PRICE: $6,500* *This is the estimated value a piece of similar quality, craftsmanship, and characteristics could command at retail. A 7.31-carat sapphire commands the center of this ring, framed by a radiating halo and baguette shoulders. Sapphires above seven carats are a different proposition from the one-to-three-carat stones that make up most of the market — at this weight the blue develops a depth that smaller stones can only suggest. The mount is built to the scale the stone requires, with the halo sized to carry it rather than crowd it.
