Sapphire Dreams - Amanda Horvath

Sapphire Dreams by Amanda Horvath Painting 27.0 x 40.0 :: This piece is a celebration of nature capturing an ethereal woodland scene that merges reality with an impressionistic vision of bluebells and forest flowers. The vibrant blues and peaceful greens dance across the canvas embodying nature’s serene yet spirited essence with delicate birch trees interspersed through the glade. Created sensitively with brushes and palette knives the painting invites the viewer into a semi-abstract world reminiscent of cool breezes quiet woods and the scent of bluebells on the air. This artwork is experienced like a sunny woodland glade bringing a breath of vitality and a touch of dreamy wonder to any space it inhabits. An original artwork one of a kind this painting has been created with high quality acrylic paints on deep edged canvas. I begin with observation of the place making notes and taking photographs to work from in the studio. From these beginnings I work intuitively painting some base layers with a brush and then impasto techniques layer on layer applied with a palette knife. Harnessing optical mixing techniques employed by the impressionists. I continue working until the painting reaches a natural conclusion. The painting is on deep edge canvas which continues round the sides a frame is not needed and it is ready to hang. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Contemporary Subject: Landscape Width: 27.0 Height: 40.0 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 2 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
