Stunning barbotine majolica fruit-, pastry-, and dessert ware from the famous pottery factory Sarreguemines in Northern France. A large cake or fruit bowl, together with 10 dessert or fruit plates and—very special—a confiturier for jam, cream, or to taste. Ochre-yellow glazed dinnerware with green and yellow leaves, in relief decorated with colored fruit such as peaches, apples, pears, cherries, grapes, plums, and strawberries. A fantastically beautiful example of barbotine. All pieces are marked: Sarreguemines- France. The dinnerware is in very good condition.
