Scailmont - Candleholder (2) - Glass - Durover

Koppel Durover candlesticks in high-quality clear pressed glass manufactured by the Belgian Scailmont glass factory. The candlesticks have a spirally twisted shaft that catches and refracts light from every angle. The goblet-shaped candle holders are inspired by classical columns, while the heavy ribbed base provides good stability. Durover is a brand name for Belgian Art Deco glassware produced during the interwar period by the Verreries de Scailmont glass factory in Manage (Hainaut). The Scailmont glassworks was known for 'half-crystal' and hard glass that was often designed in collaboration with designers such as Henri Heemskerk. Scailmont was, in that period, an important player alongside Val-Saint-Lambert. Height: 23 cm The candlesticks are in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. The photos form an integral part of the description. The candlesticks are very carefully packaged and shipped with tracking.
