Scalextric - Slot car Ford Fiesta 1600 #11 1980 Rallye de Cataluña - 1980-1990

FORD FIESTA 1600 #11 – RALLYE DE CATALUNYA 1980 1:32 scale replica of the Ford Fiesta 1600 S No. 11, driven by Joan Ignasi Canela and Juan Ignacio Villalba in the XVI Rallye de Catalunya, held on November 22-23, 1980. Entered by the Official Ford Dealership Team, this small sports car represented Ford's commitment to national rallies, noted for its lightness, agility, and 1.6-liter engine. The model reproduces a representative piece of Spanish rallying from the early 1980s, a era when national drivers and private preparations competed in rallies with great tradition. The original car had to withdraw from the event due to an electrical fault. Manufactured by Scalextric Tecnitoys for Altaya's Rallyes de España collection, this reproduction brings back a vehicle somewhat unusual in collections dedicated to classic Spanish motorsport. Model: Ford Fiesta 1600 S Racing number: #11 Year: 1980 Event: XVI Rallye de Catalunya Drivers: Joan Ignasi Canela / Juan Ignacio Villalba Team: Official Ford Dealerships Result: Retired due to electrical fault Slot manufacturer: Scalextric Tecnitoys / Altaya Scale: 1:32 An interesting piece for collectors of Scalextric, Ford, and Spanish historic rallies.
