Sculptural MESOSIDERITE meteorite

In this lot we are auctioning a beautiful piece of meteorite of the mesosiderite type, recently classified under the name Mdeïné 001. Although it is a meteorite from the northwest of Africa, it has its own given name because the exact coordinates where it was found are known, in addition to being the first classified from that location, hence the name "001"—something rare and appreciated by collectors. Mesosiderites are metallic-rock meteorites just like pallasites, but unlike them their origin is different: they are the result of a collision between two bodies of different nature in space (one rocky and one metallic). The piece we auction has an ideal size and quality for a good collection, as well as a naturally very beautiful and sculptural shape. We are members of the leading international associations related to meteorites, so we guarantee for life the authenticity of all our meteorites and jewelry made from this material. Buy with guarantees. - Members of IMCA with number #7412 (International Meteorite Collectors Association) - Members of GMA with number #G0095 (Global Meteorite Association) - Members of The Meteoritical Society with number #6667 Best regards and our warmest wishes.
