Sculpture

Distinct and characterful bronze sculpture of a stylized cockatoo/parrot, signed Bourcart. The design has a pronounced Art Deco vibe, with bold geometric lines, a prominently shaped crest, and a well-constructed combination of smooth and more textured surfaces. The dark brown-bronze patina emphasizes the form and gives the piece a stylish, almost architectural appearance. At the base the sculpture bears the signature “Bourcart” and a round “BJB – Bronze Garanti” plaque. It stands on a heavy, round black marble plinth with natural white veining, making the bronze look particularly striking. An attractive decorative object for lovers of Art Deco, bronze sculptures, wildlife sculpture, and distinctive design objects. Due to its characteristic silhouette, it is a real eye-catcher on a desk, sideboard, display cabinet, or in a collection. Features: bronze with dark patina, signed Bourcart, equipped with BJB Bronze Garanti-marking and placed on a black marble plinth. The condition and detailing are clearly shown in the photos; these form part of the description. The sculpture is very carefully packaged and insured shipping with track & trace. Pickup is also possible.
