Sculpture

A large, scenographic decorative bunch of grapes of Italian manufacture, made with numerous Carrara marble grapes, individually worked, polished, and hand-painted in the splendid warm autumn tones: golden yellow, ochre, amber, and delicate pinkish hues. Particularly fascinating is the use of a real vine shoot in natural wood, preserved with its irregular shapes, knots, and original grain. The pairing between the mineral marble and authentic wood makes each piece unique. A type of Italian decorative craftsmanship highly valued in Mediterranean furnishings and today especially sought after also on the international market. Natural color variations and the visible marks on the surface of the grapes contribute to the vintage character of the object and are well documented in the photographs.
