Sculpture

A distinctive decorative sculpture of a globe that is carried and embraced by multiple hands. The combination of the globe and the hands gives the object a strong symbolic appearance and can be interpreted as connectedness, responsibility and the collective carrying of the world. The globe is rendered in a dark shade and features raised, clearly tactile continents with a coarse relief texture. The hands are also dark and finished with warm bronze/gold-toned accents, making the various shapes and details stand out nicely. The piece stands on a sturdy black square plinth and is attractively viewable from multiple angles. Thanks to the expressive design, this is a striking decorative object for a modern interior, office, reception area, library or gallery. The different textures, color nuances and finishes are part of the sculpture’s character. Please view the photos carefully for a good impression of the object and its condition.
