A particularly expressive bronze sculpture of a feline, executed in an elegant and dynamic pose. The animal is beautifully modeled as it reaches forward with one forepaw, giving the sculpture from every viewing angle a strong sculptural character. The flowing lines of the back, the muscular body forms and the subtly developed head and legs come out particularly nicely in the warm bronze-colored patina. The sculpture rests on a heavy, dark-veined marble plinth, which forms a beautiful contrast with the warm bronze and gives the whole piece a high-quality gallery appearance. An important detail for collectors is that the statue is signed and provided with a bronze hallmark/stamp. These details are clearly photographed and form part of the offered object. Details * Executed in bronze * Warm bronze-colored patina * Expressive representation of a feline * Dynamic, characterful posture * Beautifully modeled anatomy * Signed * Provided with bronze hallmark/stamp * Placed on a heavy dark-veined marble plinth * Strongly decorative and interesting as a collectible object Because of its powerful silhouette this is a sculpture that fits particularly well in both a classical interior and a modern, minimalist or gallery-like environment. A distinctive work of art with a strong presence — beautiful on a console, sideboard, pedestal or in an art collection. Condition The sculpture is in beautiful condition with patina and possible light signs of use and aging appropriate to the material and character of the object. Carefully view the extensive photo series; this forms an important part of the description and gives a good impression of the execution, patina, signature, markings and condition. Shipping The sculpture is professionally and very carefully packaged, with extra protection around both the bronze sculpture and the marble pedestal. Insured shipping is possible. Pickup is also possible.
