Powerful and expressive bronze sculpture of a rearing horse, crafted with great attention to anatomy, movement and detail. The tense posture, raised forelegs and finely modeled mane give the piece a strong dynamism and presence. The horse is finished with a dark, warm patina where the higher parts reveal subtle bronze accents. This makes the muscle groups, mane and contours stand out particularly beautifully. The sculpture rests on a richly modeled bronze base and is mounted on a heavy, polished black natural stone/marble plinth. This combination gives the whole a classical and luxurious presentation. On the bronze foot there is a visible signature, as clearly shown in the detail photos. A decorative and characterful object that comes into its own in a classical interior, modern gallery setting, office or a collection of horse and equestrian art.
