Charming statue in régule on a wooden base, signed Aug. Moreau (Auguste Moreau, sculptor, 1834-1917), depicting a young teenage athlete who holds a weight in his left hand and raises his right hand. Bronze-like patina on régule, fine details of clothing (see photo). Total height: 29.5 cm. Height of the régule part (figure and its base): 26.5 cm. Good overall condition, apart from the missing finger. Artist: Aug.
