Wall-mounted crucifix in a contemporary style, a good meeting point between sacred art, design, and modern-era craftsmanship. The figure of Christ stands out for an elongated, stylized anatomy, made of metal with a mirror-polished finish giving a chrome/stainless steel look. The mirrored surface of the sculpture, with its reflections, creates a striking visual contrast with the transparent plexiglass base. The object is of modern manufacture with very careful execution, attributable to artisanal production or a small edition. The piece bears no signatures, marks, or identifying stamps. NOTE: the item is in good preserved condition but not perfect; the plexiglass parts are slightly scratched in some areas—see photos. Materials: polished stainless steel with some gold-toned details, transparent plexiglass base, gold-colored metal chain 44 x 31 x 7 cm CONDITION: The crucifix is complete and overall in good condition. Conservationally, the plexiglass support shows some areas with scratches and scuffs due to time; however, once hung on the wall, the overall aesthetic impact remains excellent and the small surface defects are not invasive. Please review the detailed photographs to verify the exact state of conservation.
