Sculpture, Fontana Poseidone - 35 cm - Cast Stone

Splendid sculpture depicting the iconography of "Poseidon" (stone cast), in all its uniqueness. Poseidon is one of the twelve Olympian gods, though according to tradition he resides in a splendid underwater palace near the island of Euboea. His consort is the nereid Amphitrite, but he has numerous affairs with goddesses or mortal women, and as many children. The god's symbol is the trident, and his sacred animals are the horse, the bull, and the dolphin. According to legend, when it was decided to divide the world into three realms, a drawing of lots took place: Zeus got the sky, Hades, deceived by Zeus, the subterranean world of the underworld, while Poseidon was allotted the sea and waters. The sculpture is suitable for enriching noble residences, an outbuilding or sumptuous spaces. Careful shipping of the items with parcel tracking is guaranteed. No reserve!
