Beautiful large bronze statue of a girl with a balloon that she releases - modeled after Banksy. Banksy’s message "there is always hope". Stands on a marble base. Inspired by the painting that was auctioned at Sotheby’s in London on 5 October 2018 for 1,040,000 pounds, or 1,370,000 US dollars. Just as the auctioneer struck the gavel and cried 'sold,' the painting began to emit a squealing sound to attract the attention of those present. The painting then slid out of the frame and through a shredder built into the frame. The latest photos show the original Banksy work in London as a mural (Waterloo Bridge) and the painting that was shredded at the auction. An impressive piece with a beautiful patina and a powerful presence. Height 39 cm (including the balloon). Base 28 cm x 14 cm. Weight 5.2 kg. The sculpture will be securely packed and insured for shipment with track & trace.
