Sculpture, Gondola degli Innamorati - 12 cm - Murano glass - 2026

Entirely handmade in Murano, this small glass sculpture tells in glass the most romantic symbol of Venice: a gondola ride for two. The gondola, hot-shaped in glossy black glass, has the long, slender line of the Venetian boat, which rises slightly at the ends. At the bow the "fero"—the distinctive decorative iron—is rendered with thin parallel reliefs; at the stern the line closes into an elegant curl. On board, two hearts of transparent red glass rest against each other, like two lovers close: against the light the red glows and fades into amber tones toward the tips. The gondola rests on a cube-shaped base of crystal glass with a pulegoso effect, pierced by tiny air bubbles that catch the light and recall the lagoon water. The contrast between deep black, the red hearts, and the base’s transparency makes the sculpture elegant and full of poetry. A romantic gift for an anniversary, for Valentine's Day, or to remember a trip to Venice. Perfect on a shelf, a desk, or a nightstand. Each sculpture is unique: the shape of the hearts, the curve of the gondola, and the bubbles in the base vary from piece to piece. Any small imperfections are the natural mark of handmade work. Details Technique: hand-shaped glass formed by hot shaping; base in crystal glass with pulegoso effect. Dimensions: approximately 12 × 2 × 6 cm (length × depth × height). Colors: black, transparent red, crystal. Condition: new, never used. The sculpture is accompanied by a certificate of originality, attesting to the artisanal Murano glass craftsmanship.
