Sculpture, Lévrier / Greyhound - 41 cm - Bronze

Large animal sculpture depicting a greyhound with a particularly slender and elegant silhouette. Made in bronze with a dark brown patina, the sculpture stands out for its stylized proportions: long slim legs, elongated neck, tapered muzzle, and a body marked by decorative work on the ribs. The surface features a beautiful nuanced patina, with different brown and gold tones as well as the characteristic signs of artisanal craftsmanship. The sculpture is worked in the round and presents a hollow construction visible in places, characteristic of this type of realization. The greyhound is depicted standing, in a proud and attentive posture. Its very graphic silhouette makes it suitable to fit both in a contemporary interior and among a collection of animal sculptures. Overall good condition with traces, irregularities and patina variations visible in the photographs, consistent with artisanal manufacture and the age of the object. The sculpture is unsigned to my knowledge. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
