Sculpture, Nerone - 29 cm - marble powder

Professional academic sculpture, completely handmade by professional artisans. A piece from a museum plaster cast room. The workmanship has very ancient origins and is carried out by artists in the sculpting field, made with materials such as scagliola and Carrara marble powder. Nero was Roman emperor from 54 to 68 A.D. The last of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, he is known for his controversial rule, marked by luxury, excesses and repression. During his reign there was the great fire of Rome (64 A.D.), for which he was accused, though his responsibility is uncertain. He loved the arts and performed in public, something viewed unfavorably at the time. He died by suicide after being declared a public enemy by the Senate. Please note that the object is removable from the base. The item will be packed by a shipping-specialist company. This guarantees that the packaging will be carried out professionally and efficiently, ensuring maximum protection during transport.
