All auctions / Wine & Spirits / Sculpture, Stemma Alfa e Omega - In Hoc Signo Vinces - 25 cm - Cast Stone

Beautiful heraldic emblem representing "Alpha and Omega" in Christian religion, in all its uniqueness completely finished by hand (stone cast). The Alpha (Α, α) and Omega (Ω, ω) symbol represents, in Christianity, the beginning and the end, and it is a title of Christ or of God in the Book of Revelation. These letters, the first and last of the Greek alphabet, symbolize God's eternity. "In hoc signo vinces" is a Latin phrase that means "Under this sign you will conquer." It is famous for the tradition linking it to the vision of Emperor Constantine before the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, where the cross would have appeared to him with the inscription "In Hoc Signo Vinces." The emblem is suitable for enriching interiors of classy, sumptuous gardens or dependences. Careful shipping of the object with package tracking is provided. No reserve price!
