Sculpture, Tartaruga - 3 cm - Glass

Chalcedony Murano glass sculpture, lampworked by Fabio Tagliapietra, depicting a turtle The work stands out for its dynamic composition and the elegant overlapping of forms, which conveys the impression of wing movement during flight. The distinctive chalcedony effect, characterized by evocative color variations and irregular veining, creates reflections that change significantly depending on light and angle. The silhouettes of the seagulls are individually shaped at high heat, with lampworking, preserving a strong sculptural and gestural component. The transparent parts enhance the depth of the glass and the contrasts with the more intense tones of chalcedony. The composition is completed by a black glass base, which supports the sculpture and visually emphasizes its lightness.
