Sculpture, Tucano - 98 cm - Polychrome wood

Large polychrome wooden toucan sculpture – Folk art – Height 98 cm Description Interesting and scenographic polychrome wooden sculpture depicting a large toucan, characterized by a strongly stylized figure and an imposing vertical structure. The work features a long curved beak with a dark tip, a head decorated in deep green and large carved and painted wings in shades of blue and red, creating a striking contrast with the natural color of the wood. Particularly interesting is the three-dimensional workmanship, with carved and assembled elements, defined legs and a base integrated into the composition. The slender, almost totem-like form and the lively polychromy give the sculpture a notable decorative impact. The object is stylistically linked to the production of folk art and artistic crafts of the 20th century, with geographical provenance not verified. The surface bears signs of time and use, with scratches, abrasions, small losses of color and natural wear of the finish, as documented in the photographs. Unsigned work.
