Sculpture

Sculpture depicting an elegant female figure with a wide-brimmed hat and long draped dress, accompanied by a greyhound-type dog. The composition features a silvered metallic finish with gold details on the hat and on the hands. The dress, the figure, and the dog’s mantle are worked with relief details. The group rests on a rectangular stepped pedestal, with a glossy mahogany-colored finish. At the base of the sculpture there is an inscription, visible in the photographs, not attributed to a specific producer or author. An Art Déco style object, made in the second half of the twentieth century. Used condition, with surface marks, finish variations and scratches on the pedestal. The photographs are part of the description and show the condition of the object. Material composition to be checked; the silver finish does not constitute proof of sterling silver.
