Sculpture

Expressive sculpture in solid bronze, with an elder bird guarding the chick in a richly designed nest. The refined feather structure, organic twig construction of the nest, and the sturdy base give this work a powerful, vivid appearance from every angle. The dark brown to black patinated finish reveals warm bronze tones on the higher parts and accentuates the fine relief of the cast work. A distinctive and atmospheric object for lovers of animal sculptures, bronze, and characterful interior art. The object will be carefully packaged for shipment. Picking up in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, is of course also possible by appointment.
