Seaforth Highlanders Officer’s Silver Plaid Brooch. A very good silver example, by Jennens & Co., with hallmarks for ‘Birmingham 1889’, the quoit decorated with fern scrolls overlain with battle honour scrolls, with a Royal ducal coronet above ‘L’ surmounting a stag’s head to the voided centre, these central mounts similarly hallmarked, the reverse with a stout pin bar, hook and hinge fixing, very good condition £280-£340.
