seguso - Archimede Seguso - Bowl - geode - Murano glass - Murano glass bowl

Stunning and iconic Mid-Century Modern Geode Bowl/ashtray in Murano art glass, designed and handcrafted by the master glassmaker Archimede Seguso during the 1950s–1960s. The acquired piece showcases the famous sommerso technique, featuring a translucent pink inner core encased within a thick, milky white alabaster glass outer shell. This is a highly collectible piece of authentic Italian vintage design; the flat base still retains its original gold-and-red foil label, partially worn due to age, providing definitive proof of its heritage and authenticity.
