Story & Heritage Introduced in 1963, the Seiko 5 collection was created around five practical principles: an automatic movement, a day-date display, water-resistant construction, a recessed crown and a durable case and bracelet. This straightforward philosophy helped make reliable mechanical watches accessible to generations of enthusiasts around the world. This example carries that tradition forward with its robust automatic movement, useful day-date complication and original stainless-steel bracelet. Its transparent case back adds a modern touch, revealing the mechanical heart that is powered naturally by the movement of the wearer’s wrist. Practical, stylish and instantly recognisable, this Seiko 5 is an appealing companion for everyday wear and an excellent addition to any collection of automatic watches.
