Sergio Lombardo (1939) - Sat complesso 3 toni + C

Sergio Lombardo's work, created in 2005, is characterized by a visually striking abstract composition, built through the interweaving of irregular geometric shapes and chromatic contrasts. The tones of blue, turquoise, and black alternate with vivid red inserts, generating a dynamic rhythm and a continuous perceptual tension. The shapes seem to fit together and overlap, giving rise to mutable configurations that encourage the viewer to search for figures and relationships that are always new. The work fits within Lombardo's exploration of the processes of visual perception and the active role of the spectator, elements central to his artistic experimentation. The composition is coherent with Stochastic Painting, a research in which Lombardo uses mathematical procedures and combinations of shapes to evoke different interpretations in every observer.
