Serving trolley - Space Age - Acrylic, Crystal - Italian Design

Elegant Italian-designed auxiliary service cart made in the second half of the twentieth century, a representative piece of the modern aesthetic that triumphed in the most sophisticated interiors of the 1970s and 1980s. Its design stands out for the combination of light and transparent materials, creating an airy and refined appearance that fits perfectly in contemporary environments, late mid-century ones, or Space Age-inspired interiors. The structure is built entirely in curved transparent acrylic, a material characteristic of Italian design of the period for its capacity to impart visual lightness without sacrificing solidity. The cylindrical uprights support two wide circular slabs of tempered glass, arranged on two levels that allow the piece to be used both as a drinks cart and as an auxiliary table or decorative display. The rounded and streamlined shapes, together with the transparency of the set, generate a sense of fluidity and modernity, allowing the cart to blend discreetly into any space without overloading the room. The original wheels facilitate its movement, providing practical functionality that complements its aesthetic appeal. It is kept in good overall condition, presenting only the absence of a small fixing nut on the top, a standard and easily replaceable element that does not compromise the decorative presence or the overall structure of the piece. Because of its timeless design, its build quality, and the elegance of its materials, this cart constitutes an excellent example of late-20th-century Italian auxiliary furniture, ideal for living rooms, bar areas, studios, or contemporary interiors where it will bring transparency, functionality, and a refined vintage character.
