Two authentic fossil shark teeth of the prehistoric Otodus obliquus, Paleocene, lot of 2 Lot of 2 authentic fossil teeth of the prehistoric shark Otodus obliquus, discovered in the famous Moroccan phosphate deposits with beautiful cusps! This species is considered one of the primitive ancestors of the great lamniform sharks, including the megalodon. Estimated age: Paleocene / Early Eocene, about 50 to 60 million years. Provenance: Moroccan phosphate basins (Khouribga). Dimensions: Tooth 1: 5 cm long, 3.5 cm wide and 1.5 cm thick for a weight of 12 g. Tooth 2: 5 cm long, 3.5 cm wide and 1.2 cm thick for a weight of 12 g. Very beautiful pieces for the collection of paleontology enthusiasts, marine fossils or curiosities cabinets.
