A0000006644 Article: SHEAFFER Craftsman fountain pen in blue resin with gold-plated fittings, torpedo body and clip engraved "SHEAFFER'S" Length: 12.95 cm Diameter: 1.1 cm Nib: M Period: 1940s (approx. 1945-1950) Materials: Body and cap in high-gloss opaque blue resin; black knurled section; 14-karat gold nib engraved "Sheaffer's Feather Touch 5 - 14K - Made in USA"; clip, cap ring and feed lever gold plated. Lateral lever filling system with rubber sac. Condition: Good condition for its age. The blue retains a very vibrant shine, with no cracks or deformations, and the threads and cap closure operate normally. Light signs of use and fine superficial scratches on the body, and slight wear of the gold coating at the end of the clip. The nib is straight, aligned and undamaged. Vintage piece not serviced: it is recommended to replace the ink sac before using it with ink. Accessories: Only the loose piece; there is no box, case or papers visible in the photographs.
