A premium technical automotive poster dedicated to the Porsche 911 S 2.4 Targa — the 1973 open-air sports car that combined classic air-cooled flat-six performance with the distinctive stainless-steel Targa bar and removable roof panel. This portrait A1 artwork presents the Porsche 911 S 2.4 Targa in refined silver, combining a large three-quarter illustration with front, side, and rear views, a detailed air-cooled flat-six engine, top-down technical drawing, side cutaway, and a carefully arranged set of engineering specifications. Open-Air 911 Character The 911 Targa offered a unique alternative to both the traditional coupé and a full convertible. Its removable roof panel, fixed stainless-steel Targa bar, and open rear section created a distinctive driving experience while preserving the structural character and silhouette of the classic 911. 2.4-Litre Air-Cooled Flat-Six At the centre of the poster is the 2,341 cc air-cooled flat-six engine. The illustrated power unit highlights the horizontally opposed cylinder layout, mechanical fuel injection, compact rear-engine packaging, and period Porsche engineering that defined the 911 S. Lightweight Performance The Porsche 911 S 2.4 is presented as a car built around mechanical precision and efficiency. Its light body, low seating position, rear-wheel drive, manual gearbox, and air-cooled engine create a direct relationship between the driver and the road. The Iconic Targa Bar The stainless-steel Targa bar is one of the poster’s most recognizable visual elements. It provides the car with its unmistakable profile while supporting the removable roof structure and separating the open-air cockpit from the rear glass section. Classic Rear-Engine Architecture The technical cutaway makes the rear-engine layout clearly visible. The engine and drivetrain sit behind the passenger compartment, giving the 911 its characteristic proportions, compact front section, broad rear stance, and instantly recognizable driving personality. Detailed Illustrated Composition The artwork includes: Large three-quarter Porsche 911 S 2.4 Targa illustration in silver Front orthographic view Side profile Rear view Detailed 2.4-litre air-cooled flat-six engine Top-down technical drawing Side cutaway showing the rear-engine layout Stainless-steel Targa bar and removable roof panel Classic Porsche wheels and period bodywork Technical specification icons Vintage blueprint-style typography and archival presentation The silver bodywork, black accents, cream paper texture, and carefully rendered technical drawings create a sophisticated historic Porsche aesthetic. This A1 portrait poster is ideal for a garage, office, studio, living room, showroom, or classic Porsche collection.
