Gorgeous French Stool / Stool in Louis XV style with Handcrafted Tapestry – ca. 1950 Add a touch of Parisian elegance to your interior with this beautiful, classic stool in Louis XV style. This piece embodies the romantic and refined French provincial style, characterized by its graceful flowing lines and timeless sophistication. The base is crafted from high-quality solid hardwood with a warm, deep sheen and a beautifully aged patina. The edges feature subtly elegant woodcarving that transitions smoothly into the iconic, slender cabriole legs (S-shaped legs). The absolute centerpiece of this piece is the seat. It is upholstered with a stunning hand-crafted needlepoint tapestry with a romantic central floral motif. The soft, natural tones of the flowers contrast beautifully with the dark brown border. The upholstery is expertly and neatly finished all around with a continuous trim of classical brass nails, giving the piece a rich and authentic look. A versatile interior jewel.
