Title: Vintage Side Table / Plant Table with Mother-of-Pearl Effect – GDR, 1960s/1970s Description: This exceptional side table/plant table dates from the 1960s–1970s and was made in the former GDR (German Democratic Republic, Germany). The piece is a beautiful example of the functional yet decorative design of that era. A highlight is the glossy surface with its unique mother-of-pearl effect. Depending on the light, the tabletop shimmers subtly, giving the table an elegant, almost iridescent look. This makes it not only a practical piece of furniture but also a striking decorative focal point. The table is excellent as a side table in the living area or as a stylish plant table to showcase plants or decorative objects effectively. The condition is very good for its age and well preserved. Age-related signs of wear may be present but do not affect the stability or the distinctive charm of this vintage piece. A charming collector's item and an authentic piece of design history from the GDR. Era: 1960s–1970s Origin: GDR (Germany) Condition: Very good, with age-related signs of wear
