This model pays homage to the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit and, in particular, to 1966: the last year of its original sporting era and the year in which the last great international competition was held there before the circuit ceased hosting races. The dial is crafted in a fascinating British Racing Green, the traditional green associated with British motor racing and the most prestigious English sports cars. An elegant shade deeply linked to the history of British motoring. On the green dial stand out the two contrasting silver sub-dials. The main hands, applied indices and the large Arabic numerals 12 and 6 are finished in a gold tone, creating a particularly refined pairing with the British Racing Green. The white outer minute track ensures excellent legibility, while the steel case, chronograph pushers and crown complete the sporty character of the model. The watch is equipped with the Japanese chronograph movement Seiko/TMI VK64 Meca-Quartz, part of the Premium Chronograph VK series. This technology combines the precision and reliability of a quartz movement with a mechanical-type chronograph construction. The central chronograph hand advances with a fast, smooth sweep at fractions of a second and, at the end of the measurement, instantly returns to its initial position with the dry reset characteristic of mechanical chronographs. The movement features a central 1/5 second chronograph, minute counter and 24-hour indicator. A solution particularly appreciated because it combines precision, reduced maintenance and user enjoyment.
