First Edition. Octavo, one quarter black cloth over black and yellow striped cloth over boards, gilt lettering, deckle edge, signed by author on title page and inscribed on front free endpaper. Novel of "a young negro boy, out of work and stranded, who fastens himself like a faithful dog on an American visiting in Morocco." Very Good, light shelf wear, gilt slightly faded, no dustjacket.
