[Signed] [First Edition] THE OTHER FOOT Bradbury

First separate and first illustrated edition. SIGNED and dated '2/6/94' by the two-time Bram Stoker, World Fantasy, Emmy, Nebula and six-time retro-Hugo Awards winning author of THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES, and FAHRENHEIT 451. Originally published in 1951 as a story in THE ILLUSTRATED MAN. Striking color illustrations by Gary Kelley, including a haunting double-page spread illustration from a painting, and a full page portrait of Bradbury. A tale featuring African-Americans who have been established as a colony on Mars for twenty years, and now must decide, since they have the power and the upper hand, how they wish to treat the newly earth-homeless, soon to arrive, Caucasians. A significant early story about forgiveness and ending racism. Tiny rubbed spot at the fore-edge of the front cover, else very tight, square and near fine in cream-tweed linen with gilt embossed titles to the spine, textured taupe end-papers; in a very good dust jacket with two small chips and two small tan dots near the front panel's flap fold, a few tiny tears to the rear panel's shelf-edges, and light rubs and crimps to the upper and lower spine edges. The dust jacket will be placed in a clear, removable protective sleeve after photographing for this entry.
