VG+ in near vg price-clipped illustrated d/w very slightly chipped at corners and spine ends. Loosely inserted a short signed note from Sir Ernest Jelf about the book, it's publisher Temple and addressed to a young girl dancer wishing a Happy New Year(Heather?) written on a delightful photo of her (possibly) cropped from a proof of the book as the photo has has no printing on the back unlike the photo in the book.Note undated. 'Ballet Plays' include The Little Sylphides, Les Pirates, Dancing with the Fairies and the Mactartann.
