Silver Historical Masonic (pin) badge/insignia of the Masonic lodge La Vertu from Leiden, founded in 1757. This is noted on the medal with a characteristic compass and square. Ribbon: attached to a green (sea-green) fabric ribbon, the recognizable color of Lodge La Vertu in Leiden. Lodge La Vertu in Leiden is one of the oldest still-existing Masonic lodges in the Netherlands. (No. 7 of the Grand Lodge of the Netherlands). On the reverse there are two silver hallmarks: the tax mark 'V' and an early-model sword. This medal is therefore hallmarked in the 19th century (between 1814-1893). Very rare! Will be sent with tracking.
