The work stands out for its deliberate fragmentation of forms and the decomposition of planes, a hallmark in the asymmetrical profile of the face and the hat with concentric lines crowning her head. A palette dominated by cool bluish and greenish tones in the subject's skin and the cat contrasts dynamically with the geometric patterns in red, yellow, and orange of the clothing, as well as with the blocks of primary color in the background. The firm stroke of dark lines delineates each plane with precision, achieving a balanced composition between the formal dynamism of Cubism and an atmosphere of contemplative intimacy between the woman and her feline.
