Six Large Chimu Gilt Copper Discs, Regalia Ornaments

Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Chimu culture, ca. 800 to 1450 CE. Such ornaments conveyed status and affiliation, serving as powerful visual markers of wealth and social identity.
