SKE - Bushido Beagle

SKE - Bushido Beagle

"Bushido Beagle" – Ultra Limited Edition (10 copies) - New collection Edition number: 02/10 Artist: SKE Artist Instagram: ske_shakeyourart Mixed media: digital painting (Procreate, generative tools, Photoshop) Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris Premium art paper – ISO A2 size (59.4x42cm) – Signed, numbered – Certificate included Sometimes, all it takes is a single glance to recognize an icon… and understand that it has just entered another world. With BUSHIDO BEAGLE, SKE propels Snoopy and Woodstock into the heart of a Japanese-inspired imaginary world that is immediately evocative. Standing on his red perch turned promontory, Snoopy appears as a true poetic ronin: dark kimono, sabre at his belt, calm posture, gaze turned toward the horizon. By his side, Woodstock, tiny but essential, brings that tender and mischievous touch that maintains the balance of the scene. The big red sun, cherry blossoms, Mount Fuji, the pagoda and stylized pines establish an ambiance between a Japanese woodblock print and a pop culture homage. SKE does not merely reframe a cult character: he transplants it into a setting loaded with symbols, where serenity dialogues with honor, simplicity with inner strength. The work captivates as much by what it evokes as by what it transforms. It retains Snoopy’s universal softness, but reinterpreted here through a more graphic, textured, almost timeless visual language. A piece that speaks just as much to Peanuts fans as to collectors drawn to Japanese influences and refined art détournement. Editioned in a limited series of 10 copies, in A2 format, on premium Hahnemühle art paper, the work is signed and hand-numbered, delivered with its certificate of authenticity and sold unframed. A piece for those who know that a familiar character can, under another sky, become a true collectible figure. Specifications: • Limited edition of 10 copies • Printed on premium art paper • ISO A2 format (59.4x42 cm), easy to frame • Each copy is signed and numbered by SKE • Delivered with certificate of authenticity • Shipped protected, reinforced packaging A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship item in your collection. - FRAMING TIPS Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, carefully unroll it and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally regains its shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available at DIY or home decor stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and affordable, they perfectly highlight the works. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artworks. He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, combine the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. He won the Urban Master competition first prize (2023), then was named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited at major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, cementing his place in contemporary art. In parallel, SKE has made his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his works for collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play define a style that has become essential. SKE is, without a doubt, an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value. Awarded & Recognized Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or pioneering Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they reimagine the classics, not hesitating to détourne Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s world and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMPTION SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you meet sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textured work that sometimes echoes the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior. - Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
