Two Dreamers Under the Stars is born exactly from this feeling: that of a vast night, familiar and almost silent, in which two characters from our childhood suddenly set sail. Snoopy and Woodstock move forward alone on the water, settled in a small boat under a sky that immediately evokes the swirling universe of Van Gogh's Starry Night. The deep blues, yellow halos, the monumental moon, and the movements of matter transform the landscape into a waking dream. In the face of this pictorial intensity, the two heroes remain deliberately simple, almost unperturbed. It is precisely this dissonance that SKE stages: the meeting between a major reference in the history of art and two icons of popular culture. The humor almost disappears in favor of a form of tenderness. Snoopy and Woodstock do not merely divert the setting: they seem to be looking for their place in it, like two dreamers adrift between childhood and the collective imagination. Two Dreamers Under the Stars thus plays on a double memory: that of the cult images instantly recognizable, and that, more intimate, of the characters with whom we grew up. A contemplative composition designed for the collector who loves when pop culture becomes emotion before becoming a collectible object. - FRAMING TIPS Your work is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, gently unroll it and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it can regain its shape naturally before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in hardware or decorating stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant and economical, they perfectly showcase the works. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring the vast majority of his artistic works. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with a double reading, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional year 2025, SKE's value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), then named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE also asserts himself in the digital artworks market, a major trend of the past two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors. Pop culture icons, bold graphics and texture plays characterize a style now indispensable. SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value. Artist Rated & Awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE's work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret the Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or the deconstructed forms of Picasso to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the iconic Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories as does Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetic of "Hype": the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes reminiscent of Jeff Koons' glossy finish or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior. - Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
